SHACKMAN
PRACTICE
the
The Steven Shackman Practice
run a travel clinic for the benefit of patients but this is provided as a
service outside the NHS and in certain circumstances fees for vaccinations
and treatment may be payable.
Travellers should make their appointments at least 2-3 weeks prior to travel,
appointments may not be available at short notice if travel plans have been
made at the last minute.
It is very important that when booking a holiday patients take into consideration
any vaccinations that may be needed. Advice on vaccinations required for different
world regions is available by telephone.
Forward planning is essential, travel vaccinations and maleria prescriptions
are not considered to be an emergency and will not be given priority over
clinical needs of other patients.
